Have you ever wondered what successful students do to set themselves apart from the rest? The key is simple: successful students take charge of their own success.

There is not trick, power drink, or special class that makes a student excel in the classroom. Students stand out because they take charge of their time and their tasks, without relying on anybody else to tell them what to do.
Successful students control their calendars. Successful students don’t rely on parents or teachers to tell them what assignments are due or when test dates are approaching. They mark special dates in their schedules.

Successful students don’t put others in charge of their lives.

                  Average student part 2

CUROSITY: “c” students seldom explore topics deeper than their face value. They lack vision and bypass interconnectedness of concepts. Immediate relevancy is often their singular test for involvement.

 

3. Retention: “C” students retain less information and for shorter periods. Less effort seems to go towards organization and associating learned information with previously acquired knowledge. They display short-term retention by relying on cramming sessions that focus on details, not concepts.

3. ATTITUDE: “C” Student are not visibly committed to class. They participate without enthusiasm. Their body language often expresses boredom.
5 .TALENT: “C” students vary enormously in talent. Some have exceptional ability but show undeniable signs the poor self-management or bad attitudes. Others are diligent but simply average in academic ability.

5. ATTIDUDE: “A” Students have a winning attitude. They have both the determination and the self- discipline necessary for success. They show initiative. They do things they have not been to do.   
6. TALENT : “A” student demonstrate a special talent. It may be exceptional intelligence and insight. It may be usually to other student as well.
7. EFFORT : “A” student match their effort to the demands of an assignment.
8.  COMMUNICATIONS: “A” student place a high priority on writing and speaking in manner that conveys clarity and thoughtful organizations. Attention is paid to consciences and completeness.
9. RESULTS: “A” student make high grades on test- usually the highest in the class. Their work is a pleasure to grade.

Successful students can be distinguished from the average student by their attitudes and behaviors. Below are some profiles that typically distinguish between an “A” student and a “c” student. Where do you fit in the science

1.          Attendance: “A” students have virtually perfect attendance. Their commitment to the class is a high priority and exceeds other temptations.
2.          Preparation: “A” student prepared for class. They always read the assignment. Their attention to details is such that they occasionally can elaborate on class examples.
3.          Curiously : “A” student demonstrate interest in the class and the subject. They look up or dig out what they don’t understand. They often ask interesting questions or make thoughtful comments.
4.          RETENTION: “A” student have retentive minds and practice making retentive connections. They are able to connect past learning with present. They bring a background of knowledge with them to their classes. They focus on learning concepts rather than memorizing details
